The Human Rights programme is aimed at monitoring, identifying and addressing violations in various government institutions in a view to enhance democratic rule in Lesotho. The programme comprises of training, monitoring, documenting, educating and reporting of human rights violations. The programme has worked on monitoring the following rights, detained persons rights, workers rights, youth and gender equality and the rights of the disabled

The programme commenced in September 2005 and by the end of the programme human rights situation analysis report would be published for distribution in the country, human rights organisations throughout the world, African Union (AU) Human Rights Commission and United Nations Human Rights Commission.
