The role of the information unit of the LCN
is to disseminate information through mass media and modern
information technology. This is done through designing and
developing of the quarterly newsletter, the Councils
website, introducing electronic linkages between the LCN,
regional and international organizations, printed
publications and press conferences. The information unit
also designs and implements media and information technology
training as well as providing advice and support relating to
printed and electronic communication and information sharing
within the NGO Community.
