Human Rights Monitoring:  People with disability

 Monitoring Tool 

1.  Data Collection Form

It should entail amongst the following:

  • Access to information for the visually impaired persons, that is, whether or not the brailed material are available, infrastructure – roads and buildings
  • Access to education and employment

Data from the forms will be analysed, conclusions will be drawn and recommendations will be made thereof to the relevant bodies. 

2. Interviews

Interviews will be carried out and the target groups will be as follows:

  • People with disability
  • Their parents
  • Service providers
  • Philanthropic bodies

3. Inspection

Regular visits will be made to different service providers
